Hi Alex and welcome along.

Now you don't see too many of the 250 gixers about do you. Get a pic up for us to see.

Good to see someone else getting their hands dirty as well. Very satisfying business doing your own mechanics isn't it? emoticon

Re: Hello from NZ

hey andy glad to hear from another (soon to be) kiwi emoticon
apolagies for not replying earlier ive been in rotorua for the weekend. didnt ride down though emoticon went in the v8 emoticon

i will ring around and enquire about importing a 400 as i have a few mates that regularly import bikes and theyd be in the no.

where are you coming from and where will you be moving to in NZ?

the best way is to drain ALL fluids out of the bike, build (or get one made) a wooden box frame around the bike, secure the bike inside, pack the empty space with blankets or foam etc, find somone or a company that send LEGAL things in containers and pay to put ur bike in with it (paperwork and all legal ovcourse)

the other way is to pay for room in a container legally and strap the bike down with strops, then when in nz untie it drive off and sort out registration.

i will enquire about legal work and registration and VIN etc to find out prices and posibilities
