the only damage was done by one of the drive coggs hitting the casing, so with a bit of JB weld, i no its not a very pritty job but itll do for now

With regard to the O rings in the carbs Badger, have a good read of the sticky O ring topic at the top of the workshop thread list. Make sure you click through the links too and you'll find all the info you need there.

Re: Rebuild time

Jay (gsxr400racer) does or did sell the kits but I haven't seen him here for some time. You could try emailing him to see if he still does them or failing that if you read right down through Tony Sleeps page he tells you where he got all his o rings from.

Re: Rebuild time

Well carbs back on today and after a couple of atempts
she fired up emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Not running her best but at least shes running
high res seem fine but low down not to good trying to get her to iddle is a bit miss and hit. plip the throttle up to 8000 then she quickly goes down to 2500 and then takes 10 to 15 sec to then settle down to 1000,

a bit of fine tuning required somewhere, all the o rings where replaced and screw set to 1.5 turns

idea,s why she sits at 2500 for 10seconds then goes down to 1000 would be appreciated

cheers Badger
