Why dont use g13 coolant (same pink/blue fluid as in vw cars)???
Suitable for all o rings and alloy engines...

Re: GK73A coolant
coolant is a bit greasy and greases the waterpump for example..
Its also thicker.
with water the viscosity (right word in english??) will be lower so it "runs" better through the radiatos/hoses etc etc. At the track/races they use demi water with a little bit coolant of bore oil. At my track R1 it cooled about 4 degrees lower when it used water instead of coolant.
But perhaps theres another explanation??
do not use normal water but demi water!!
(thats special water with no calcium in it.)

Re: GK73A coolant
best for cooling is demiwater with a little bit coolant.
But....when my R1 engine was blown i splitted it and had to drain the cooling system. I always drove with demiwater but there still was any rust in it....
So i changed the demiwater for coolant and raced with coolant only. And the rules from the racecompetition....!@#$ it
picture of my fastest bike ever.
Lot of YEC tuning parts on it...freakin animal it was!

Re: GK73A coolant
if your changing coolant either use pre mix coolant or mix ethelene glycol mixed 50/50 with deionised water
