FS365 vs ACF50

I've been using Scottoil FS365 protective spray on the bike for the last couple of years, and on the whole been pretty pleased with the results. The only thing I've not liked is the fact that it does tend to get washed off in very wet weather - something to which you'll appreciate I have to give due consideration, given the part of the world in which I live.

However, this time I've splashed out and bought a can of ACF50, a product of the aircraft industry, and you can see the difference as soon as you apply the stuff! Firstly it's not water miscible like FS365, and secondly it neutralises any corrosion. It's more expensive litre for litre than FS365 but it goes a hell of a lot further. I used a cloth to apply it over most of the bike, it spreads and penetrates incredibly well. The only places I sprayed were the engine, and parts I was unable to reach with a cloth.

FS365 is probably best suited to summer use when the weather is (allegedly) drier, although I suspect I may well carry on using ACF50 from now on.
