Cycling

Went for a ride on two wheels yesterday - of the pedalled variety. Cycled with my girls and friends from Pwll Penmaen to Y Bermo and back along the Mawddach trail. Great family ride, round trip of 14 miles, but blimey! That east wind was sharp enough to take the skin off your face! emoticon

The view looking West towards Y Bermo, taken from a sunny sheltered spot halfway along the trail.

Age is no bar to cycling! I'm old enough to qualify for my bus pass next year (and I can't tell you how weird it feels to write that!) but I still cycle and walk in the mountains regularly. I'd feel I was missing out if I didn't.

Re: Cycling

We're about 45 minutes from the coast and blessed with some of the finest walking, cycling, and motorcycling roads in Britain.

Keep up with the cycling, indoors or outdoors. I try to get out as often as I can - I always come back mentally refreshed and ready for the world again!
