Being self-employed does at least give me the option of having a day off in the week to ride when the roads are quieter and the weekend warriors are all at work! The back is improving now Toot but I'm going to let it sort itself properly before I start running again!nondisclosed_email@example.com (garynortheast)Mon, 08 Jun 2015 17:39:18 +0000 Re: bike insurance after my accident last yearhttps://bgsxr400.runboard.com/p2000422,from=rss#post2000422https://bgsxr400.runboard.com/p2000422,from=rss#post2000422sorry to hear your having trouble with your backs lads, that does spoil bike riding quite a bit,was out for a nice run last night, have stopped going out at prime time motoring, weekends and hometime traffic, dont stray to far from home and really enjoy peace on the roads, have decided to go to the ulster grand prix this year, havent been in 30 yrs its in august,25 miles away, weathers crap again, was lovely last night.take er easy lads nondisclosed_email@example.com (tootler)Fri, 05 Jun 2015 09:54:06 +0000 Re: bike insurance after my accident last yearhttps://bgsxr400.runboard.com/p2000420,from=rss#post2000420https://bgsxr400.runboard.com/p2000420,from=rss#post2000420I got a bid of a dodgy back too, can't ride anything with too much lean forward anymore, gk71b if fine as it has a nice sit in type position and is a small bike so not really a stretch to the bars. Just done a renthal handlebar conversion on my nt400 bros. easy swap with ntv650 top yoke and Honda hornet throttle and clutch cables. My daily use VT500e has a nice upright riding position. nondisclosed_email@example.com (guernseyshire)Fri, 22 May 2015 18:32:43 +0000 Re: bike insurance after my accident last yearhttps://bgsxr400.runboard.com/p2000418,from=rss#post2000418https://bgsxr400.runboard.com/p2000418,from=rss#post2000418I miss riding my little gixer too, they really are a huge amount of fun. Having said that, the SV650 is absolutely the best bike I've owned in 43 years of riding! The ankle is completely healed now and has never felt better. Unfortunately I'm now having to deal with a recurring muscular back injury. I was back into running and getting some good times too but that's now all had to stop again until my back heals. So frustrating!nondisclosed_email@example.com (garynortheast)Thu, 21 May 2015 19:52:43 +0000 Re: bike insurance after my accident last yearhttps://bgsxr400.runboard.com/p2000416,from=rss#post2000416https://bgsxr400.runboard.com/p2000416,from=rss#post2000416Good to hear you did not get stitched up by the insurance. Always like Kawasaki, GPz's were my bike of choice in my youth. Still got a spot for the 900r. Bit to heavy though. One of the good things about the GK71B is it's light weight. nondisclosed_email@example.com (guernseyshire)Thu, 21 May 2015 18:34:32 +0000 Re: bike insurance after my accident last yearhttps://bgsxr400.runboard.com/p2000415,from=rss#post2000415https://bgsxr400.runboard.com/p2000415,from=rss#post2000415i feel like a traitor as i always thought suzuki was it,but compared to the srad its more nimble, slightly sharper in take of,more comfortable to ride,in saying that,i still dont have as much fun as i had on the wee 400,cant explain it,i am loving the zx6r and hope in a couple of years to get a zx10r,although thats probably dreaming a little, hows things with you, hows your leg,are you doing much running,i went on a bit off a diet and trimmed two and a half stone off, feels easier handling the bike and has eased the pains in my own knees, nondisclosed_email@example.com (tootler)Wed, 20 May 2015 16:17:27 +0000 Re: bike insurance after my accident last yearhttps://bgsxr400.runboard.com/p2000413,from=rss#post2000413https://bgsxr400.runboard.com/p2000413,from=rss#post2000413That's not bad at all is it?
