Waterproofing
Ok, you all know I'm completely hopeless at anything remotely technical - how do i waterproof the bike, and dont say WD40 - been there, done that, its doesnt work all that well.. someone mentioned silicone - where and how??!!!!!!
I no longer want to have to bump start on the run upto lights while getting soaked!

Re: Waterproofing
I donno get leathers made for your bike??? LOL
I wouldn't knock WD40, that plus silicone spray and chain wax will keep a bike happy though the winter
Gsxr400 is mainly alu so no probs there, but make sure you keep an eye on anything thats make of out steel espically bearings, subframes etc cos the shite on the road this time of yr can be a pain in the ass, even me poor chain needed some links removing sobs

Re: Waterproofing
If you store it outside, why not invest in a cover for it. Bit of old tarpaulin would do though. Why do you need to bump it?
